Hello Espoo!

Yesterday we had the opportunity to represent bilingual education in Espoo at the Hello Espoo!-fair, held in EMMA - Espoo Museum of Modern Art. 

The event was organised by the City of Espoo, Aalto University, and VTT, catered towards international academics and professionals. The aim of the event was to showcase some of the services Espoo offers in English - hopefully making the process of settling in a bit easier. 

This was the first time this event was organised, and just prior to it the Hello Espoo -website was launched. This website gathers together a whole host of information and links that might be of use for those coming in from abroad.

The Hello Espoo-fair was nice and cozy, and in a lovely setting. The Niittykumpu School team wore their orange uniforms, and answered questions about our school, bilingual education, and the application process, as well as handed out candy. It was also nice to be situated right next to Espoo International school, and to catch up with old friends.

In addition to general fair-business, there were a few performances by the International Music School of Espoo.
